Aims of the 46° APPA Forum 

• Exchanging ideas about the regulation of privacy, new technologies, management of queries and complaints about privacy and, in general, of cutting-edge topics that present a challenge to uphold efficiently the fundamental right to data protection.

• Promoting a high-level dialogue between Data Protection Authorities from Asia – Pacific and representatives from the public and private sector, as well as from academia and civil society, that enables the attainment of activities that foster a culture of privacy in order to strengthen democracy and the rule of law.

• Reaffirming our commitment to data protection and consolidating globally the image of the APPA Forum as a regional cooperation mechanism that upholds a fundamental right.
